Maths Club
VISION
To develop student’s interest in Mathematics and equip them with the conceptual and analytical skills required for effective application in engineering fields.
MISSION
To encourage the use of mathematical modeling, computation, and data interpretation in real-world engineering problems.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote interest in Mathematics through interactive events and competitions organized as part of Mathophilia.
- To commemorate the contributions of mathematicians and promote awareness of the relevance of Mathematics in science and society.(National Mathematics Day).
- To motivate school students to explore Mathematics by celebrating the contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan and promoting innovative problem-solving skills.(Ramanujan Math fest).
- To build strong foundational mathematical skills and promote sustained interest in Mathematics among adopted village school students.(Summer Camp).

National Mathematics Day is celebrated every year on 22 December to honor the birth anniversary of the great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. This day highlights the importance of mathematics in our daily life and encourages students to develop interest and curiosity in the subject.
Mathfest 2025 was successfully organized for school students on 14th and 15th October,2025 at Sairam Campus with the aim of promoting interest and creativity in Mathematics. The event provided a joyful learning platform where students explored mathematical concepts through fun-filled and engaging activities.

Maths Club has celebrated “International Mathematics day” on 14/3/2021 by conducting a quiz competition for the students followed by one guest lecture by speakers Dr. Chithra Karunakaran through zoom.
