Activity 1 : World Water Day Awareness Program

Introduction :Sairam NSS Conducted event,”WORLD WATER DAY AWARENESS PROGRAM” where they taught awareness in the adopted village Clean water, conserve water, preserve water for future generation at 22/03/2021 with help of 100 NSS volunteers for 8 hours.

Activity 2 : Preserving Water Bodies and Tree Plantation

Introduction:Cleaned water bodies in various villages and planted saplings on the banks of the lake on account of the “Preserving water bodies and Tree Plantation”event conducted by Sairam NSS unit with the help of 100 volunteers for 10 hours.

Introduction:
On account of “Women’s day”as part of celebration,Conducted competition to village womens on International Women’s day along with Maylai Thiruvallur Tamil sangam at 07/03/2021 with 100 volunteers.

Activity 4 : ULLAS Event

Introduction:
The programme Conducted through a virtual platform , Padmavathy C (ULLAS Alumni) presented the session for the benefit of students of Sairam school with 100 volunteers at 22/01/2021 for 5 hours.

Introduction: Sairam NSS Conducted “Free Eye Screening and surgery camp” along with Raj square on World Braille Day with helo of 120 volunteers at Nandambakkam samudaya koodam at 03/01/2021.

Introduction:Sairam NSS unit Conducted “Cyclothon rally event” to create awareness to the public about usage of cycle for short distances on various venues at 25/12/2020- 1/1/2021 with 220 NSS volunteers.

Activity 8 : Plugging Run
Date : 21/10/2020
Introduction :In keeping the current push for environmentalism, students were motivated to run in their own locality for the event. It created awareness regarding the ongoing cleanliness drive “Swachh Bharat” and the Fit India movement. As students collected plastic wastes on the way of their run it promoted the habit of fitness and
cleanliness in all the citizens. The pictures of this event were posted in social media to spread the awareness of plastic use and to initiate others to do the same

Activity 10: Comorbidity & Hypokinetic Disease

Introduction:Hypokinesis has been identified as an independent risk factor for the origin and progression of several widespread chronic diseases, including coronary heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and lower back pain. Exercises were thought to overcome it.

Activity 12: INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

Introduction :The ultimate aim of this event is to create awareness among the younger generation. When the young budding minds see this event, they get inspired to do yoga. On this special day, the organizers planned to conduct the event by sending the photo collage of any three ASANAS with its name or with 3 minutes video of ASANAS to this given mail id.
