MISSION

OBJECTIVES

  • To provide students with hands-on, real-time training on advanced technologies, ensuring they stand out in the global arena by offering skill sets that meet industry demands and technological advancements.
  • To cultivate a culture of proactive engagement, encouraging students to organize, participate in, and excel at techfests, intra/inter competitions, fostering a spirit of innovation and excellence.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Sri Sairam Engineering College, in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Robotics and AIML club hosted a technical event titled “QUANTUM LEAP – STANDARDIZING THE FUTURE WITH BIS.” This initiative aimed to spread awareness about Indian Standards and their importance in the field of Cyber security and Artificial Intelligence among students.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Sri Sairam Engineering College, in collaboration with the ATAL Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, New Delhi, and the Mentor India Academy, proudly hosted InnovaTN’25 on 8th November 2025, marking a dynamic celebration of innovation, technology, and creative problem-solving among young student innovators. The state-level event became an extraordinary platform for students to think beyond classroom learning and work on real-world challenges aligned with future technology needs. With an overwhelming response of 450+ participating teams from various schools across Tamil Nadu, the competition witnessed the selection of 250 finalist teams who presented impactful and futuristic projects under six major domains — Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare, Safety, Environment, Smart Mobility, and Robotics. The
event not only showcased the emerging talent of young minds but also facilitated meaningful knowledge sharing, expert mentoring, and peer learning. The energy and enthusiasm displayed throughout the event reflected a growing culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among school students, making InnovaTN’25 a milestone initiative in shaping tomorrow’s changemakers.
