We are delighted to share that Team Ad Astra (Rover Development Team) from Sairam Institutions has secured Second Place at the International Rover Challenge.

Beyond the podium finish, this achievement reflects the strength of our academic mentoring and engineering culture. While several competing teams faced system-level challenges, our students’ rover successfully completed all missions without a single failure—demonstrating the impact of rigorous design thinking, continuous testing, and faculty-guided precision.

The rover received widespread appreciation from judges and peers for its industry-grade finish, seamless integration, and engineering maturity—a standard many found hard to believe was achieved entirely by students. This recognition highlights what becomes possible when dedicated faculty guidance aligns with student passion and perseverance.
