VISION
To empower students to explore and master automation technologies through UiPath, fostering innovative thinking and practical problem-solving in real-world processes. We aim to create a community where automation drives efficiency, creativity, and positive impact across industries and society.
MISSION
- To provide students with hands-on experience in RPA and UiPath, enabling them to design and implement intelligent automation solutions.
- To develop teamwork, technical skills, and leadership through mentor-led workshops and projects.
- To inspire innovation and a passion for automation by organizing events, hackathons, and training programs.
- To create solutions that enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and contribute to societal and industrial growth.

- To promote awareness of RPA among young minds and inspire them to leverage automation for positive change.

UIPATH STUDENT DEVELOPER CHAMPION SELECTION PROCESS
Student Champions are chosen every year from different departments to represent the UiPath Community in their college. Around 5–10 students will apply and be nominated by the SCOPE team, and one Student Developer Champion (SDC) will be selected by the UiPath Community each year.
1. Learn & Prepare Complete relevant UiPath Academy courses, explore UiPath technologies, and work on automation projects.
2. SCOPE Team Screening The SCOPE Team of Sairam Engineering College and previous SDCs review students’ interest, learning, and projects, and shortlist suitable candidates to move forward.
3. Apply & Showcase Shortlisted students submit the UiPath Community form with their introduction video, completed courses, projects, achievements, and other details.
4. Interview & Onboarding Candidates participate in an interview and discussion with the UiPath team/community. Selected students receive the necessary information and are officially onboarded by the UiPath Community.

Sri Sairam Engineering College has been recognized at the global level through the UiPath Student Developer Champion (SDC) Program, with students selected by the UiPath Global Community through a competitive global selection process. The selected SDCs represent a global recognition of student leadership, technical excellence, and contribution to the UiPath Community.
Sairam UiAutomistix conducted an “Introduction to UiPath” session to create awareness about Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and the opportunities offered by UiPath. The session was delivered by Balamurugan S – CSE (Batch 2023–2027) and introduced students to the fundamentals of UiPath, automation workflows, real-world applications, and career opportunities in RPA.
The session encouraged students to explore UiPath Studio, develop practical automation skills, and understand how RPA can transform everyday processes, inspiring students to begin their journey in automation and UiPath technologies.
Students from Sri Sairam Engineering College proudly participated in the UiPath Student Developers Summit – “Namma Chennai Namma Automation”, held at St. Joseph’s Engineering College.
The summit provided valuable exposure to Agentic Automation, with insights from industry experts, opportunities to connect with fellow automation enthusiasts, and hands-on learning. The event inspired students to explore the evolving possibilities of UiPath, AI, and automation while strengthening their knowledge and professional network.
“Automation in Action – A UiPath Experience” was an online session designed to introduce students to UiPath and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The session covered the fundamentals of automation, UiPath applications, and real-world automation use cases through engaging demonstrations and discussions.
A quiz competition was conducted at the end of the session to reinforce learning, test participants’ understanding, and encourage active participation in the world of automation and UiPath.
Organized Automation4SDG Pitch Fest – “Transforming Automation into Sustainable Solutions” in association with the IEEE Education Society Madras Section and SEC IEEE EduSoc SB. The event challenged students to develop and pitch innovative solutions that connect automation with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through team-based pitching, students showcased their ideas to a panel, strengthening innovation, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and sustainable thinking. The event highlighted how automation can be applied to address real-world sustainability challenges.
Agent Hack’25 – Bangalore was an 8-hour National Hackathon on UiPath Agentic AI, organized on 16th October 2025 by the Department of CSE, Kristu Jayanti University, in collaboration with UiPath.
A team from Sairam UiAutomistix, Sri Sairam Engineering College participated in this national-level event, comprising Balamurugan S – III CSE (UiPath Student Developer Champion), Ganesh S – III CSE, and Mohammed Thaha – III CSE.
The hackathon provided hands-on exposure to UiPath Agentic AI, intelligent automation, real-world problem-solving, and collaborative innovation, giving students valuable experience on a national-level platform.
During the academic year 2026–2027, Sairam UiAutomistix Club conducted an interactive UiPath technical session focused on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and practical automation.
Students participated in hands-on, laptop-based learning, exploring UiPath concepts, demonstrations, and real-world automation use cases. The session strengthened technical skills, problem-solving, and practical understanding of UiPath, encouraging students to explore automation and build innovative solutions for real-world processes.
Sairam UiAutomistix Club organized “Sairam AUTOMATA – Future in Automation,” an online technical session held via Google Meet on 22 August 2026.
The session featured Mr. H. Sallavudeen, Senior RPA Developer at BMW, who shared valuable insights into Robotic Process Automation, industry practices, emerging automation trends, and career opportunities. The interaction gave students direct exposure to industry perspectives and encouraged them to strengthen their technical skills, industry awareness, and interest in automation. Date:22/08/2026
Conducted a hands-on UiPath Studio workshop led by developers from REC, who guided students through practical RPA concepts and real-world automation workflows. The session included hands-on training in UiPath Studio, with students learning to build automation solutions, including a Sentiment Analysis project.
The workshop provided practical exposure to RPA, workflow design, data processing, and automation development, helping students strengthen their technical skills through direct guidance from industry developers.

The Sairam UiAutomistix Team achieved a remarkable national-level milestone at the RPA Skill-A-Thon 2021, conducted in association with the UiPath Academic Alliance and hosted by ICT Academy.
Competing against institutions from across India, Sri Sairam Engineering College secured 2nd Place nationally, becoming the 2nd college in India to complete the Round 2 challenge within the specified time. This achievement reflects the team’s RPA expertise, problem-solving skills, speed, and innovation.
