VISION

To continually educate Cyber awareness and keep abreast about the emerging technologies of cyberspace,to develop club into a model club across the globe.
MISSION

QTUXATHON 3.0, a 24-hour national-level hackathon brought together passionate and innovative minds to address real-world challenges across multiple domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Quantum Computing, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Forensics, and Open Innovation.

HavocCTF 4.0 was conducted on 11th November 2025. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 80 students from various departments who are members of the Cyber Club.

On 9th November 2025, the Cyber Club organized a webinar titled “Introduction to Cyber Security” from 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM in online mode. The session was conducted to create awareness about cybersecurity fundamentals among students and to introduce them to the growing importance of cyber safety in today’s digital world.

On 28th October 2025, the Cyber Club organized an online workshop titled “Basics of CTF”. The event was conducted in online mode and was exclusively organized for Cyber Club members from all departments. A total of 44 students actively participated in the workshop, showing keen interest in learning practical cybersecurity skills.

On 19 August 2025, the Cyber Club organized a Cyber Security Awareness Drive exclusively for first-year students. The event was conducted in offline mode from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM. First-year students from all departments actively participated in the program, making it a large-scale awareness initiative.

On 19th September, Cyber club organized a Cyber Security Awareness Drive exclusively for second-year students. The event was conducted in offline mode from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. Second-year students from all departments actively participated in the program, making it an effective awareness initiative.

Skill Development session for one-day idea pitching hackathon Cyber Sentinel.AI conducted on 11th February 2026 (from 9.00 am to 4.10 pm) exclusively for first-year students. Participants analyzed the given problem statements and proposed conceptual cyber and AI-driven solutions.

A one-day idea pitching hackathon Cyber Sentinel.AI conducted on 13th February 2026 exclusively for first-year students. The objective of this event is to enhance students’ technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and practical exposure in the areas of cyber security and artificial intelligence.

Department of CSE (Cyber Security) in association with Cyber Club organized the Inauguration of Women in Cyber Security – Student Branch Chapter on 13th February 2025. Ms. Madhusmita Nayak, Security & Risk Lead – IBM Corporate, Core member – WiCyS, India inaugurated the student branch chapter and delivered a session on Role of Women in Cyber Security.

On October 14, 2024, an event focusing on the consequences of Cyber bullying on the mental health of youth in India was held at Alpha Hall. The session featured Dr. Madhulika Sahoo, PhD, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology and the Director of Student Welfare at Kalahandi University, Odisha. Number of Beneficiaries – 120.

The Department of Cyber Security in association with the IEEE SMC and Cyber Club organized HavocCTF 2.0 on 23rd October 2024, from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM, in the Beta Hall of Sri Sairam Engineering College. The event was graced by Mr. Sakthi Prasanna as the guest of honor. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 80 students from various departments who are members of IEEE SMC and the Cyber Club.

On 24th October 2024, the Cyber Club organized a National Level Ethical Hacking Workshop titled Bug Busters’24. A total of 180 students from various departments who are members of the Cyber Club actively participated in this much-anticipated session. The workshop featured Mr. Renganathan, a well-known Ethical Hacker and Bug Bounty Hunter, as the guest speaker.

On 24th October 2024, the Cyber Club successfully organized a National Level Workshop titled “Burp Suite Masterclass: Expert Guidance and Hands-on Workshop”. The event was conducted in offline mode at the Beta Hall of Sri Sairam Engineering College from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM. The guest speaker for this highly informative session was Mr. B. Dhivakar, Technical Lead at Hebesec Technologies.
