Chitheri Lake (Somangalam) Cleaning Activity on 15.09.2019. In these lake cleaning activities, our student volunteers are actively involved in removing waste materials which include non-biodegradable materials like plastics and glasses. From 01.10.2018 to 07.10.2018, Eco and Swacch Bharat club and management organized a tree plantation program inside the college campus. The total number of saplings planted on the campus is around 2000 and a green audit report was prepared. Based on the audit report nearly 600 varieties of trees were identified and labeled by their common and botanical names. During this program, the importance of various trees and their medicinal values were explained to the students to create awareness and to make a pleasant environment on the campus.
