The inaugural function for the “Inventive Erudition” initiative by IEEE SIGHT’s Humanitarian Technology Board, a Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology, took place on May 2, 2024, Wednesday, at Udarchi Government Higher Secondary School in Poonthandalam, Puducherry. The event, chaired by Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, Chairman and CEO of Sairam Educational Group, featured K. Porkumaran, Principal of Sairam Engineering College, as well as S.K. Uma Maheshwaran and Mr. T. Prabhu, serving as coordinators for NSS & IEEE SIGHT. The function was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. M. Jnana Prakash, Chairman of Poonthandalam Municipal Council, and Mrs. Malarvizhi Murugan, District Governor.
