NDLI CLUB

VISION

The primary purpose of the NDLI Club is to engage users, such as students, educators, researchers, and librarians, in activities that enhance their experience with the NDLI platform including organizing events, workshops, and training sessions to educate users about the features and resources available on the NDLI portal.

MISSION

“To promote the effective use of the National Digital Library of India by encouraging knowledge exploration, digital literacy, and collaborative learning, thereby empowering students and the community to access, share, and apply information for academic excellence and lifelong learning.”

OBJECTIVES

  • Promote Reading Habits: Encourage students to read books, journals, and other scholarly materials regularly through NDLI.
  • Conduct Knowledge-Based Activities: Organize quizzes, essay writing, book reviews, debates, and other literary activities to build intellectual engagement.
  • Contribute to National Development Goals: Align club activities with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 – Quality Education.
  • Facilitate Lifelong Learning: Instill the habit of continuous learning and self-development using NDLI resources.
  • Promote Use of Open Educational Resources (OER):Raise awareness about free and open-access learning materials available through NDLI and other platforms.
