VISION
To expose students to various ideas and technology based on scientific concepts in order to support research on global issues through innovative way.
MISSION
To nurture self-directed learners with passion for science, thereby promoting research through interdisciplinary collaboration and to emphasize learning as a lifelong process in a supportive, safe and secure environment.
OBJECTIVES
- To motivate students to develop a scientific knowledge through activity based learning once every year
- To enhance scientific awareness in social, environmental, and technological contexts by organizing science project once every year.
- To make the students, to participate in National and International science competitions.
- Trigger the scientific thinking of students by organizing technical lectures relating Science and Engineering once every semester
- To understand scientific knowledge To organize events on national science day and International science and peace day every year

On 29th October 2025, the Science Club of Sri Sairam Engineering College organized SCI-ARENA 2k25, conducting two competitions—Reverse Engineering (Technical) and Science Behind the Scene (Non-Technical).400 students were benefited from which three teams were awarded as winners for each event.
On behalf of National Science Day 2026, the Science Club of Sri Sairam Engineering College organized the event NEXUS 2K26 on 23 rd and 24 th February 2026. The event featured four competitions—Myth or Fact, Poster Making, Whisper Challenge, and Best Out of Waste—where participants showcased their knowledge, innovation, and teamwork. The chief guest Dr.G.Vinitha ,Professor and Dean VIT ,Chennai, addressed the gathering on the Theme” Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat” and presented the cash awards to the winners.
Mindhunt was conducted on 8.11.2024 – 70 students participated and a
cash award was given to the winners

The chief guest Dr. K.Murali, Professor, Department of Physics, Chennai,
presided over the function.100 students benefited.
