DESCRIPTION OF THE CLUB
Skill Development Club of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College is a vibrant, student-driven organization with over 1000 members, focused on enhancing academic and professional skills across various disciplines. It offers workshops, training sessions, and hands-on activities in areas like communication, leadership, time management, and technical expertise. The club fosters peer learning, leadership, and self-improvement, encouraging students to engage in project-based learning and obtain industry-relevant certifications. By staying updated with the latest trends and skills, the club plays a key role in shaping students’ academic and career paths, promoting lifelong learning and personal development.

The SAIL Faculty Training Program was successfully conducted by the Skill Development Club, Sairam Institutions, in association with Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. The program aimed at enhancing faculty competencies in skill development, industry-aligned practices, and modern pedagogical approaches, thereby strengthening teaching effectiveness and employability-oriented education. The training program was organized over two days, on 03rd and 04th December 2025, at Apple Hall, Sairam Engineering College.

The Hands-on Training on C in SkillRack Platform was organized by the Code Club in association with the Skill Development Club of Sri Sairam Engineering College and Sri Sairam Institute of Technology. The program was designed to strengthen the foundational programming skills of students by providing practical exposure to the C programming language using the SkillRack online learning platform. Conducted as a structured hands-on training program, the event aimed to help freshers build logical thinking, understand core programming concepts, and gain confidence in solving coding problems through guided practice sessions. The primary objective was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-time coding practice, preparing students for academic success and future technical assessments.

The objective of the Python Programming Training is to introduce first-year students to Python programming and computational thinking, encouraging them to think in a new direction. The program aims to build a strong programming foundation, enhance logical reasoning, and familiarize students with Python as a versatile language used in academics, data science, AI, and industry applications.

ELEVATE 2025 was a two-week skill development program organized by the Skill Development Club, in association with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College and Sri Sairam Institute of Technology. The event was conducted from October 27 to November 7, 2025, exclusively for first- and second-year students, with mentor-guided sessions held in the evenings. The program focused on enhancing technical and creative skills through structured domain sessions, including Java Fundamentals and UI/UX Design in Week 1, followed by Web and Backend Development and a Machine Learning Kickstart in Week 2, with the aim of helping students learn, practice, compete, and excel.
